Day 1: Tashkent
Today your guide will wait for you at the airport and accompany to Tashkent. This day is devoted to a city tour in Tashkent. Tashkent is the multi-faceted capital of modern Uzbekistan, the center of cultural and political life of the Republic. The first destination will be Independence square which the main square of Uzbekistan, which is located in the heart of Tashkent, the capital of this Central Asian country. Afterwards you will observe one of the main sights of the capital the local Broadway; it is a famous walking street. Then you will go to famous Tashkent metro. There are 29 stations in the Tashkent metro, each of which is an architectural monument. First line started wirking in 1977. Further you will visit the old part of the city which includes: Chorsu Bazaar the abundance of goods and sellers, the noise of voices, conversations and bargaining, the aroma of spices, Kukaldash Madrasah and Hast Imam complex that consists of several madrasahs, mosques and mausoleum. You will also observe the highlight of its exhibits is the Othman Quran which is the world's oldest Quran copy dating back to 8th c. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 2: Tashkent - Nukus
This day you will have a flight to amazing city Nukus. Nukus is a city in Uzbekistan, which is considered the capital of the Karakalpakstan Autonomous Republic. It is also the administrative, economic, scientific and cultural center of Karakalpakstan. A full day is dedicated to a sightseeing tour. You will visit the destination called the Museum of Savitsky. Savitsky's collection of paintings of Russian and Soviet avant-garde artists, the world's 2nd largest collection of historical and ethnographic collections in the Karakalpak region. The Museum was founded in 1966 by a remarkable scientist, ethnographer, artist and collector Igor Savitsky. The history of creation and development of the Museum is unique, as well as its collection. After that you will transfer outside of Nukus to see Mizdakhan necropolis is particularly popular among religious tourists who come here from all over the world. The complex itself was built in the IV century BC and consists of several structures and an ancient cemetery. You will also discover a 2200 years-old Zoroastrian ancient monument known as Chilpyk. Night will be spend in the hotel.
Day 3: Nukus - Ayaz Qala - Tuprak Qala - Khiva
This day you will transfer to Khiva, the most ancient city in Uzbekistan full of history and fascinating sites. Khiva is a unique Museum city. Khiva is a city of ancient Khorezm. The historical region of Uzbekistan is now entirely under the care of UNESCO. Thousands of years ago, there was an oasis through which the great silk road passed. The legend of the settlement's origin is interesting. It is said to have appeared around a well that was dug on the orders of the son of the biblical Noah. This well can still be seen in the city. En route you will explore two famous fortresses: Ayaz Qala and Turpak Qala. Ayaz Qala this settlement, which was also built in the IV century BC, is also called the city on the wind. Experts believe that this name was given to the settlement due to the fact that it is located in a place with frequent sandy winds. Tuprak Qala, -a dirt fortress, so dubbed by the local population, the ruins of a once magnificent structure. Continues wars and struggles jaded the city and remained it without any sign of life. Day 4: Khiva - Bukhara
In the early morning you are going to drive to Bukhara. Bukhara got its current name from the word "Vihara", which means "monastery". The history of Bukhara began in ancient times: archaeologists found the remains of various objects and buildings of the V century BC. The city is called the city-Museum, on the territory of which many monuments of Central Asian architecture, belonging to various historical periods, have been preserved. You will drive through through famous Kizilkum desert from Khiva to Bukhara. During the tour you will admire the breathtaking view of Amu Darya the largest water stream in Central Asia. On arrival to Bukhara you will take a rest in your free time. Night will spend in the hotel.
Day 5: Bukhara
This day is dedicated to a city tour around fascinating Bukhara. First of all you will explore the most ancient citadel in Bukhara dating back to the 4th century named Citadel Ark is an ancient symbol of state power. After you will observe Samanids mausoleum which one of the most ancient architectural monuments of Bukhara was built on a vast territory that in past centuries served as a burial place for the dead. After you will direct to Chashma Ayub. The name is due to the inside of the well (Chashma), which, according to legend, appeared at the place where the biblical prophet job (Ayub) struck with a staff. In course of the tour you will have an opportunity to stroll along the shopping domes and visit Nodir Divan Begi which is madrasah in Bukhara, part of the architectural ensemble of the XVI-XVII centuries Lyabi-Hauz. You will complete the tour with exploring Poi Kalon complex; the architectural complex includes the Kalyan Minaret, the Cathedral mosque of the same name, and the Miri-Arab madrasah. The mausoleum is recognized as a UNESCO world heritage site. Night will be spend in the hotel.
Day 6: Bukhara
You are going to have a highlight tour in vicinities of Bukhara. You will explore the masterpiece of architecture Bahauddin Naqshbandi complex, this place is visited annually by pilgrims from many countries of the world to honor the memory of the Saint. Even before the construction of this complex, there was a small village of pagans Kasri Arifon, widely known for its ancient traditions, loud festivals and rituals. After that you will discover the countryside residence of Bukhara Emirs named Sitorai Mohi Hosa complex. Unfortunately, the young wife of the Emir died very soon, and the Palace acquired such a poetic name - "Sitorai Mohi-Khosa", which translates as"Palace of a Star like the moon". The final and largest building was built under the last Emir of Bukhara - Alimkhan. To complete the tour you will transfer to Sumiton village to find Chor Bakr memorial complex, listed as a UNESCO world heritage site. In translation, this name translates as "Four brothers", but the local population used to call it nothing else than "the City of the dead". After that you will drive back to city. You will spend the night in the hotel.
Day 7: Bukhara - Gijduvan - Samarkand
Today you will your tour to Samarkand. En route you will have a stop in Gijduvan village to visit famous private pottery workshop. Gijduvan has always been a recognized center of Central Asian ceramic production. Thousands of pilgrims passed through the revered places of "noble Bukhara", they carried the glory of Bukhara artisans far beyond its borders. Then you will go on ttransfering to Samarkand. Night you will spend in the hotel.
Day 8: Samarkand - Tashkent (transfer or train)
Today you will have a transfer or train to Tashkent. The day is devoted to a highlight tour of th city. You will visit sight Courage Monument consists of a black cube and a bronze sculpture. On one side of the cube is carved the date: April 26, 1966, and on the other - a dial with hands indicating the time - 5 hours and 24 minutes. Furher you will explore Zangi Ota memorial complex. Zang Ota mausoleum is a magnificent building, with a minaret, the mosque of Namazgoh, patio and living cells. You will also experience the State Museum of Timurids', it began work in 1996 and is dedicated to the Mongol commander Amir Timur (or Tamerlane) and the history of the development of the entire Central Asian territory during his rule, as well as his entire dynasty. In the end of the tour you will explore the State Museum of Applied Arts of Uzbekistan, the history of the future Museum's formation begins in 1927 with the organization of an exhibition where the best masters of Uzbekistan demonstrated their works. over time, it became permanent. Day 9: Tashkent - Chimgan Mountains - Tashkent
Today you are going to transfer to Chimgan Mountains. Chimgan Mountains. Chimgan Mountains are a popular recreation area for tourists, skiers, cavers and paragliders in Uzbekistan. On arrival you will go to the cableway to reach the top to see Beldersay peak 30 min one-way. At this place you will take a rest, breath fresh air, have some short walk. En route you will make a stop at Charvak lakeside beach for free time and own water activities (as per season). Charvak-a huge artificial lake-reservoir, surrounded by green slopes of mountains, crowned with snow caps. You will drive back to Tashkent in the end of your tour. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 10: Flight
In the morning is transfer to airport.
